Welcome to the general semantics home page in English.

"Whatever you may say something is, it is not!"
— A. Korzybski
"'Always' and 'never' are two words you should always remember never to use."
— M. Kendig
You will find in these pages a presentation of
general semantics, a biography of
Alfred Korzybski, and a
bibliography, with an eventual review
by general-semanticists of our association. Our quarterly
newsletter and some
articles will allow you to discover general
semantics applied to fields such as society, science, psychotherapy, etc.
Finally, you will find some links with other web
sites on general semantics as well as other subjects.
Whether you are trained or not, you can test your ability to
discriminate between observations and inferences.
Many famous persons have used general semantics.
If you too are interested by our activities, you can
subscribe to our association.
